We are in the midst of 4 world changing technologies. AI (Artificial Intelligence), Robotics, Neuralink, and Quantum Computing represent transformative advancements that will dramatically enhance human capabilities, automate complex tasks, and revolutionize fields from medicine to industry. These technologies will reshape economies, redefine human-machine interactions, and tackle challenges previously deemed insurmountable, fundamentally altering the way we live and work.

Artificial Intelligence Convergence

The Turing Test (1950) is where a human judge interacts with both a machine and a human through a text-based interface. If the judge cannot reliably distinguish between the machine and the human based on their responses, the machine is said to have passed the test. For all intents and purposes this was objectively passed with ChatGPT and Transformative Architecture in 2017. More recently we’ve seen a degrees of scale spend increases on AI. The Turing Test is redundant but not for the precise reasons it was designed. 

The sophistication of AI today was made possible by the Transformative Architecture made famous by this white paper “Attention Is All You Need“. The real life Her movie is here. An example is OpenAI’s Math Tutoring which is mind bending. 

Like initial GPS devices were clunky, they are now in our cars, on our phones same will happen with AI. The locked systems are 10X-100X what we see or will be able to use (just like Google Earth). Trillion dollar companies own AI, and right now AI access is the new digital land rush.

In short, what is going to happen will be most if not all Businesses will be built into either their own IP which rapidly builds into the AI engines and remove themselves from 3rd party licensing of B2B software, or they will be slow to move and will continue to payout hundreds of thousands if not millions per year to continue on their enterprise software.

That will all change. AndMine are building those platforms now for clients now, with smart prototyping to establish what the capabilities are and what roadmaps look like in the next 12 months and byeond. The promise of what computers were always supposed to do for us, is what AI will deliver, real, humanlike resource automation.

Looking ahead, many roles will be absorbed by AI, those already in the content, journalism, creative, design and animation fields can see the writing on the wall, this is the tip of the iceberg. Artificial Intelligence will have a bigger impact than Covid on civilisation,  bigger than the printing press, and certainly bigger than computers.

Right now there is a window of opportunity to get ahead of AI, build into your IP into organisational systems, and own it. Why continue to spend on Large Enterprise systems or even small SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions that will all be replaced by AI. In the end will will all contribute to funding the AI engines, as of course they’ll take a clip on the way, hopefully this stays ridiculously affordable as it as they make the APIs open to software developers like AndMine.
