Here’s an interesting side note; a recent comment by the Obama Government was along the lines that it is in the interest of the NSA not to disclose bugs like this, suggesting that the NSA knew about this and was actively exploiting Heartbleed! I guess as our friends Facebook accounts got hacked we got a ton of spam from them about new sneakers or to start trading Forex, but we didn’t realise how a lot more sensitive data would have also been compromised.
