Every month we see major shifts in technology and how people are connecting with each other. Long term, to survive this digital darwinism, businesses and brands need to be super agile. Test lean and iterative strategies, not just with online or advertising, but with every aspect of the accepted economic comfort zone. The new digital natives and early adopters are becoming connected consumers. They are also starting businesses across all sectors and chipping away at the accepted norms. This is not a slow evolution, with social and mobile tipping the biggest change to commerce since industrialisation, and all in under a decade. Every aspect of business with a life-span of over 5 years needs to start now and evolve fast. Leveraging off your traditional model will take you so far, you need to make bold, disruptive change to your current comfort zone. We are not advocating running down the street naked, “what the hell am I doing changes”, that will definitely raise eyebrows it will probably not be inline with your business future. Rather start qualitative, measured and intelligent tests into new digital opportunities, testing not only your success, but the advice you align with. The only thing from the past which will become more and more a part of this digital age, is traditional service, something too often over looked in our rush to new ROI profits and growth. Disruptive digital agencies with their agile and lean methodologies are changing the future of digital for good.
