Our art director (me) and designers had a day trip last Friday to show their face and networking prowess at Sex, Drugs & Helvetica, an annual design conference run by Uncoated, a long time friend and collaborator of &Mine.
With supernova of a line up; Christopher Doyle & Co, Fabio Ongarato Design, Round, Reactive, The Sum Of and Build, it was not surprising to see ourselves amongst other five-hundred some attendees already busting to get seated and start listening to six (seven if we’re counting each individuals) inspiring talks.
The main format which Sex, Drugs & Helvetica follow is that each presenter would decide upon a project they have done in the past and make a presentation focused on how the project was formed, progressed and delivered. Revealing all the nooks and crannies, up and downs.
We thoroughly enjoyed the program, we came out with some invaluable nuggets of wisdom and brilliance from each presenters.
Below are some of what we have taken away from the conference.
Go on, see if you can challenge us on "Sex, Drugs &Mine" - Part of our 183 services at AndMine. We are quick to respond but if you want to go direct, test us during office hours.
Add Your CommentThe &Mine team is great to work with and went beyond the brief to deliver a family violence website which was both engaging and easy to use. The team is collaborative, understand the constraints and sensitivities of a government environment and work alongside you to develop creative and practical solutions and ideas. Stakeholders have only had positive feedback about the website including with comments such as the best government website I have seen.
