Maximise Your Ad Conversion

If you’re not already using video ads in your advertising campaigns, it’s time to start.

Video is currently the best storytelling tool to make information more engaging, sway an audience and get them to retain information. SO – how can you use video to optimise your budget? What’s the most effective way possible to drag people into the sales funnel? Follow this simple 5 step guide to guarantee that your video ads are as high converting as possible.

  1. ATTENTION

Grabbing the attention of potential customers is the first step in swaying their conversion. Start off by using audience targeting to identify a niche group. Then, create a headline which is relatable to them and sparks curiosity. For example: “CALLING ALL ICE CREAM LOVERS!” or, “Attention all entrepreneurs!”.

2. IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM

Humans have problems 100% of the time. It’s your job to use audience targeting and think about what this problem may be. Here’s where you want to identify a pain point which will resonate with the target audience… and agitate it! This will spark a subconscious emotional response you can capitalise on later (in the solution step).

In accordance with our recurring theme of relatability, this step is where you want to identify with the audience. For example: “We all miss the good times of pre-covid”. After the point of connection comes transition. For example: “What if I told you your favourite band were performing online?”. The agitation will then switch to a sense of anticipation – and in perfect timing, because here comes your……

4. SOLUTION

Solve your audience’s problem with your brand new product, e-book or course. For example, “Here’s the 5 most valuable tips I’ve learned in ice cream sales after 20 years in the business”.

5. CALL TO ACTION

Here is where you tell your audience how to get this solution….”BUY NOW”, “Sign up today”, “LEARN MORE”…etc.

By following this simple 5 step process, you can be sure that your ad will lead to the highest conversion rate possible.
