Environmental

&Mine have always taken a proactive environmental approach to our eco-footprint. We were one of the first companies in Australia to adopt an accredited Carbon Neutral offset across the business, as well as promoting the service to our clients and network. We’ve recently adopted the Victorian State Governments TAKE2 Pledge supporting the lead role our state can play in global net zero emissions by 2050, helping to ensure our planets global temperature rise is below 2 degrees.

As a digital agency we are a poster green organisation for sustainability. From technology choices in our office environment like the minimalist use of printing and paper products of any kind and the use of laptops over desktops to reduce power consumption, through to choosing a location readily accessible via public transport for both team and clients.

We foster a collaborate work space to ensure the team feel safe in a healthy and productive working environment, reinforcing sustainably to minimise our consumer footprint.

We work with our clients and collaborate on environmental challenges, knowing the responsibility sits across organisations to protect the social and economic conditions of our community, team, customers, partners, supply chain, service providers for future generations.

Working with larger clients like Tassal, our team share in the sustainability challenges and environmental impact industry faces to maintain pro-planet best practice and have helped deliver digital products like their Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Dashboard. Working with smaller clients for example; Solar Flow – we share with our team their knowledge around the range of products in the marketplace, and how their customers and the wider community benefit from quality vs quantity. We gravitate to clients positioned with environmental, community and social responsibility as they share our philosophy on the collaborative mindset required to enact real and positive change for our planet.

Social

Employing a strong XY Generation workforce who are digital natives, there is an inherit social enterprise and responsibility awareness across the team. &Mine foster and support this intent, which has developed rapidly around transparent community communication via social media and collaborative viral platforms we are well tuned into. We are aligned with the benefits technology can provide to organisations, especially those under resourced and challenged with the corporate-technology landscape. Governance

Under the banner Flux Engineering, started as a pure software development company in the mid nineties. Flux went on to international credibility with our client partnerships delivering projects both locally and abroad. In 2009, the well-established company was absorbed by the newly positioned &Mine brand, transforming our boutique software company into a full service digital agency.

&Mine is a private company solely owned and directed by its founder Michael Simonetti. Strong growth over the past two decades has been developed through his personal philosophy of transparency and collaboration, hence the name Yours & Mine. A fusion robust technology and intuitive usability drives our service methodology; in short, technical solutions which real people actually enjoy using.

The &Mine team share in our transparent approach, sharing thought-leading advice through articles on our website, publications, and through corporate, university and not for profit seminars. We know our space is a fast moving environment with frequent new challenges, so we contribute with pro-active, positive knowledge in every conversation regardless if we are engaged or not. This allows organisations to empower themselves with the right resources and optimise through beneficial technology choices. Our guidance and advice is relied upon by clients from a consultative capacity through to rich technical solutions. We hold our clients trust as an upmost cornerstone of our services.

&Mine have managed stable growth through intelligent business relationships across intellectual property, legal, finance, research and development, alongside audits from the Commonwealths innovation platform – Enterprise Connect.

Risk management, both internal and client services are well defined. We have extensive internal documentation on processes developed on secure digital tools available for team members.  This is further supported through general business and professional indemnity insurance.

&Mine complies with all the relevant Commonwealth and State Government legislation and regulations relating to workplace relations and remuneration, occupational safety and health and equal opportunity. Committed to the Occupational Health and Safety Act 1985, Employees are provided a safe and collaborative work environment which extends beyond the Acts’s definition which each team member contributes to.
