Ascii Code Table and Unicode Reference for HTML

Ever wondered how some people add those special characters, or language characters that are added to posts or webpages? Well they are called Unicode / ASCII codes and there are thousands of them. Here are some examples; ☼ ♺ ◴ ✆ ⚽ ⓼ ⏏ (Not seeing a sun, recycle, clock, telephone, football, number 8 in a circle and eject character? Not to worry, not all systems are setup to display all ASCII Codes).
Interestingly these are all text characters and can be easily added to a webpage by typing &# followed immediately by the Unicode / ASCII code and then a semicolon “;” character. You can use these codes anywhere you can insert HTML. For example, below are the characters for ⌨ through to ⎌, you can click this table below to open up the full list of extended codes. Depending on your system and browser, some of the Unicode / ASCII characters may not be visible, however if you are running a recent browser, all 54,999 should be.
