Mobile application development is often misconstrued for an easy win in the digital space. The fact is, mobile apps, web apps or cross platform apps are all great if they engage your audience and provide something beyond the capabilities of a website. All of this takes a lot of smart work in the back end from planning on how to align with an overall brand strategy to functional implementation.
Working on the SunSense brand we developed an app to tick all of these boxes for their yearlong campaign showing the effects of sun-exposure “Are you a victim of daylight robbery?”. As well as consider the end-user and how they can engage with something that is easy, practical and allows a viral mechanic to improve the reach of the app. Some of the background working screens are below as an example to what goes into this planning in the back end. (Note: this was not the first revision of the specification). See the working app and another of our website launches at www.sunsense.com.au – A project this size, concept to launched application including everything in-between was around 4 Months.

Go on, see if you can challenge us on "Mobile Application Development: Sun Exposure Simulator" - Part of our 184 services at AndMine. We are quick to respond but if you want to go direct, test us during office hours.
Add Your CommentThe &Mine team is great to work with and went beyond the brief to deliver a family violence website which was both engaging and easy to use. The team is collaborative, understand the constraints and sensitivities of a government environment and work alongside you to develop creative and practical solutions and ideas. Stakeholders have only had positive feedback about the website including with comments such as the best government website I have seen.
